DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
EST. 2010
We anchor on best practices for conceiving and creating human and health-centric spaces. Using experiential design principles, we look for innovative ways to incorporate the tenants of well-being into all projects.
Purposeful design optimizes the impact an environment has on human performance.
At Studio 7 we believe innovative and thoughtful design incorporates nature’s healing and mystical powers, and that physical spaces anchor our experiences in the world.
Studio 7s name is inspired by life’s experiences and fascination with the number 7. Both practical and mystical. It is said that the number 7 brings a completeness and perfection to the physical and spiritual realm. 7 also represents intuition, a quest for knowledge and the pursuit of prosperity, joy, and renewal.

JAMIE WILLEMSE
“As the founder of Studio 7, I create spaces that inspire people to live, work, play and heal.”
As a child, I spent hours climbing trees and looking for the next space to explore the magic of a living ecosystem. I then moved to LA where I went to college to study nutrition, health, and biomechanics - anything “body performance”. My surrounding environments were an aggregate of industry and well-being hospitals, pediatric clinics, wellness centers, chiropractic offices, dance studios, gyms, etc. In these places, I developed a respect for our surroundings dynamic power on our health and performance.
With experience as a high level athlete, degrees in Interior Design, Sustainability, Health & Exercise Science, and training in Earth Medicine and Sustainability, I offer a lived perspective of how important health and wellness are to driving outcomes in life, work, and healing. I have also traveled extensively to experience healing modalities and spaces worldwide and incorporate this knowledge into my designs.
